After a succession of bikes, this one just popped up during a conversation and the rest is history. During my search for parts, I stumbled across a 1980 250 which was considered a “Parts Bike”. The rear shocks alone was worth the price. I threw it in my shed and never really looked at it. After the completion of my 82, I rolled it out of my shed and decided to do a quick fix up and sell it. After buying used side panels and a throttle cable, which was to be my only investment, I began to give it a good cleaning. Well, that so called cleaning turned into a full blown restoration! I think you can understand how this can happen. As of this writing, the frame has been stripped to bare metal and primed. All new plastics, motor parts and bearings are on order from RTR. Yes, it’s an addiction!
Well, there you have it another Can-am nut has been born.
