Following on from the release of the Sonic, in 1983, Can-AM launched the equivalent MX model, dubbed the Sonic MX. Updating the MX series was also made with the ASE components and Rotax’s newly released liquid cooled 2 stroke.
Under the Armstrong contract, similar models exist badged as Armstrong/CCM
