Sonic MX

Following on from the release of the Sonic, in 1983, Can-Am launched the equivalent MX model, dubbed the Sonic MX.

Under the Armstrong contract, similar models exist badged as Armstrong/CCM

With the switch to UK production, can-am exited the mainstream MX market, dropping the normal 125,250 etc model. Instead they concentrated on the more open class machines, circa 500cc, and some speciality models, such as the liquid cool MX models
